HELP FOR GUAM RESIDENTS
2014 On May 24, 2014, the Parents Empowering Parents Disability Center hosted our 1st Annual Island Wide Conference on Disabilities featuring keynote speaker Jo Mascorro, M.Ed., Consultant for Education.
2015 Since 2015, the Parents Empowering Parents Disability Center was named Guam’s official Pacific Parent Training & Information Center by the Leadership in Disabilities & Achievement of Hawaii (formerly Learning Disabilities Association of Hawaii).
2015 In June 2015, Parents Empowering Parents of Children with Disabilities, Inc. received a charitable donation from the Guam Naval Officers’ Spouses’ Connection for our 1st I CAN TOO! Summer Camp for Children with Distinct Abilities and their Siblings.
2016 Since January 15, 2016 PEP is an IRS 501(c)3 tax-exempt nonprofit organization. 2016 On March 3, 2016, PEP was named a recipient of the 20th Annual Kick the Fat Mini Grant through the Pay-Less Markets Community Foundation.
