PARENTS EMPOWERING PARENTS Our Vision Parents Empowering Parents of Children with Disabilities, Inc. aims to build a spirit of teamwork with parents and the community of agencies on Guam to work together to improve the educational outcomes and adult lives of individuals with disabilities. We aim to aid children with disabilities to live lives of dignity, to achieve their true potential and excel in all areas of their life, academic and otherwise. Our Mission To provide training, advocacy and support to parents of children with disabilities, youth with disabilities, and professionals who serve them. Parents who have children with disabilities face many challenges unique to our island. One of the greatest is securing an appropriate education for their children. Many parents find the process of creating an educational plan for their children difficult and daunting. Parents also find it difficult to get good information about their children's disabilities.
